Play with phpBB 3.0.

Tuesday, January 26th, 2010

It is a great free software utilized by many people around the world to establish forums on their websites. Actually I tried tons of similar programs when I was an Internet amateur or maybe enthusiast several years ago. At that period of time, I built my personal websites, learned webpage designing and CSS, spent plenty of time sitting in front of my ancient computers, etc.

I tried phpBB 3.0 this morning, then I deleted all its program files and data tables in shellcoast database on my server. It is too complicated to me to handle it in a short time. I don’t like its layout and appearance either, which is why I deleted it then. But now I found I would rebuild it on my server again because of its being exquisite and intelligent. I’ll try it again tonight on my bed and give another report.

Not living in China.

Browse the foreign web sites, use the Internet tools provided by companies abroad, host my site on other country’s servers, all of these things make me thinking: am I living in China yet? Actually, I am not living in China, I am living in a virtual world, a wider space beyond all sorts of limitations. Is there anybody who hates freedom?  The Internet is so awesome, which offers people, like you and me, a possibility to reach freedom almost for free.
